Watershed Coordinator, Wabash Watershed Alliance
Mercer Soil and Water Conservation District is seeking a full-time watershed coordinator for the Wabash Watershed Alliance. A four-year degree in a relevant field or an associate’s degree with related work experience is required. Coordinator would be responsible for organizing watershed planning, education, and watershed plan implementation to protect a local water resource. Program Assistant, Shaver’s Creek Environmental Center
This 11 ½ month position with Shaver’s Creek Environmental Center of the Pennsylvania State University involves assisting the director of the outdoor school program in all aspects of the residential experience in the spring and fall, and assisting the day camp director during the summer session. The program assistant will help to provide staff training, counselor training, program development, program coordination, budget management, and overall direction of both programs. Applicant should have bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in resident outdoor education or a related field. Position is for January 13, 2003 through December 31, 2003. Climate Campaign Coordinator, Greenpeace
Greenpeace is seeking a coordinator to lead its Global Warming and Clean Energy Campaign. The Climate Campaign utilizes innovative and creative tactics to confront corporations and governments who are blocking action to solve global warming. The campaign also pushes renewable energy solutions to climate change. Campaign staff are currently working in Washington DC, San Francisco, and Anchorage. Watershed Analyst, Versar, Inc.

Engineering Services Manager, Avon Lake Municipal Utilities
The Avon Lake Municipal Utilities Department in Avon Lake, Ohio is seeking applicants for a newly created managerial position. Duties include overseeing all department maintenance functions, supervision of all construction projects, specification writing, and new construction review. Job is located in Bryn Mawr, PA. Successful candidate will be responsible for compliance with environmental regulations and permits for all of the Corporation’s operations. Responsible for the timely completion and filing of reports for solid waste, NPDES, and drinking water permits. Requires a bachelor’s degree in environmental science or public administration. An advanced degree is preferred. Minimum of five years of management level experience in governmental agencies or private industry in the field of environmental compliance also required.
