Great Miami River Watershed
The Great Miami River Watershed is located in the southwest
portion of Ohio. This system includes the Great Miami,
Stillwater, and Mad Rivers. In 1915, the Miami Conservancy
was formed to control and manage floodwaters. The Conservancy’s
program areas are integrated, tying together flood protection,
water resource monitoring, recreation, and conservation.
The Miami Conservancy’s website is useful to anyone
involved in watershed activity. The site contains information
on flood protection and water management, recreation, Phase
II Storm Water, water monitoring, and GIS mapping. You
can also view up to date news about watershed information
and events, as well as browse the news archives. Learn

Miami Conservancy at http://www.miamiconservancy.org/default.asp
