Updated Water Quality Database Program from U.S. EPA
The EPA recently announced the release of Version 2.0 of STORET,
the main EPA database for water quality information collected
since 1999, along with older water quality data that has been
verified and moved from the Legacy Data Center (LDC), which
contains historical water quality data dating back to the
early 20th century. Extensive raw and interpreted data is
available covering all aspects of water quality, and measurements
are available for all U.S. states, territories and jurisdictions.
Both programs are available via the Internet, or can be ordered
free from the EPA. For more information and a free copy, go
to http://www.epa.gov/storet,
or send an e-mail to storet@epa.gov
